In this betting preview, besides odds from GG.Bet, we’re taking a look at some of the top teams to consider for your LoL betting.
G2 Esports – Forever Favourites?

For a few seasons now, the LEC has been accused of being a one-team region due to the dominant reign of G2 Esports. Indeed, for anyone unaware, here’s a look at their regional record last season:
- 1st @ LEC Season Finals 2024
- 1st @ LEC Summer 2024
- 1st @ Spring 2024
- 1st @ LEC Winter 2024
Every time they have a slow start, G2 Esports somehow pull it together when it matters and walk away as victors thanks to their incredible players.
So far at LEC Winter, G2 has fallen a surprising three times, with losses to Karmine Corp, Team BDS and Fnatic – all of their rivals. Despite this, we wouldn’t count them out of the running, considering their incredible reputation and history in the region. While they’re hugely favoured to take down GIANTX, their biggest test will be facing Fnatic once again in the Upper Bracket Semifinals.
Fnatic – Second Once Again?

While 2024 saw G2 win everything, Fnatic placed second in the region a total of three times:
- 2nd @ LEC Season Finals 2024
- 2nd @ LEC Summer 2024
- 2nd @ LEC Spring 2024
After a season of constantly being second-best, Fnatic has bolstered the roster with two signings. Specifically, “Upset” from Karmine Corp and more notably, “Mikyx” from G2 have been signed to the team.
While we were unsure about the signings before the season, Fnatic have proven that they are not content with finishing second again. Topping the leaderboard with an impressive 8-1 record, their only loss came to KOI at the beginning from which a 7-win streak was born.
With this momentum, they look simply unstoppable, but can they overcome their historic rivals in G2 Esports and finally return to the international stage?
Karmine Corp – Maintaining Improvements

Following the acquisition of Astralis’ slot in the LEC, Karmine Corp quickly started turning heads. Building off of their LFL roster and a limited budget, the team managed to muster an impressive 4th-place finish at LEC Summer 2024.
Moreover, this was on the back of thrilling signings such as South Korea’s Kim “Canna” Chang-dong.
In the off-season, after missing out on Worlds, Karmine Corp signed more European talent with Martin “Yike” Sundelin from G2 and Caliste “Caliste” Henry-Hennebert from the academy team. Predicted to keep up the momentum, Karmine Corp has proven everyone right but has struggled to keep consistent.
Specifically, despite taking down G2 Esports, they unexpectedly lost to GIANTX and Team BDS while also faltering to Fnatic. Despite this, Karmine’s new roster has already built on their foundation and is a serious contender in the LEC Winter Playoffs. Seeded into the ‘easier’ side of the bracket, Karmine Corp seems destined for at least the Upper Bracket Final in our LoL predictions.
