Published: Sep 23, 2024

Esports data provider Oddin.gg has made a bold move into new markets by offering Deadlock betting for the first time. News of the expansion into Deadlock was announced by release today (Sep. 23), as Oddin.gg provided details and information about the move.

Deadlock, Valve’s still in-development MOBA/shooter hybrid, is currently in closed beta and requires friend invites to have access to the game, but has already hit over 100,000 players.

With the game becoming a viral hit, Oddin.gg offered its new Deadlock markets during a September streamers’ tournament (although the event was not specified in the release). During the event Oddin.gg gave its partners access seven core markets:

Deadlock was reportedly seamlessly integrated into Oddin.gg’s existing esports portfolio, with matches available through the same feed as all other sports and esports clients. Oddin.gg’s clients can already access market descriptions through the Odds Feed API or via the corresponding Odds Feed SDK interface from Oddin.gg.

The quick introduction of Deadlock to Oddin.gg’s suite of offerings gives its customers a new way to attract and retain bettors, while expanding their esports offerings with emerging titles.

As mentioned, Deadlock is an upcoming third-person MOBA shooter created by Valve, the developers behind Dota 2 and Counter-Strike, two of the largest esports in the world. After more public playtesting began in late August, Deadlock has already surged to 100,000 concurrent players on Steam, as it surges towards ever increasing peaks.

Oddin.gg is a B2B esports betting oddsmaker and esports data provider, giving its clients an end-to-end betting experience through its platform. It offers live odds feeds, risk management, iFrame solutions, widgets, 24/7 content, live esports data, and marketing services.
