Day 1 – Group Stage Opening

Here’s a look at how the Group Stage has unfolded over one day of competition with all the highlighted teams earning an opening win:

Team Falcons seem to extended Club Championship lead

Overwatch at the Esports World Cup -

Once again, at another Esports World Cup tournament, Team Falcons are esports betting favourites. After several events at EWC, they’re leaders on the EWC Club Championship Standings as recorded on our live tracker.

For this event, they seeded as one of the best teams in OWCS Asia Stage 1 and recently placed second at the OWCS 2024 Major.  The only team ranked higher than them is Crazy Raccoon.

They’ve maintained their form with an early win in Group B over Mkers, a leading team from FACEIT Master OCE.

Crazy Raccoon Still on Top

After dominating the OWCS 2024 Major, all eyes are on Crazy Raccoon and whether they can stay on top of the game. Kicking things off in Group A, they swept aside ROC Esports in a 3-0 fashion as expected.

Seeded as one of the top teams from South America, ROC Esports didn’t stand a chance against Crazy Raccoon in this particular match-up.

ENCE and Spacestation are the EMEA Favourites

From EMEA Masters Road to EWC, both Spacestation Gaming and ENCE are favourites for the Overwatch Esports World Cup.

Over in Group C, ENCE opened things up with a very competitive match against M80, the second-best team from North America.

In addition, Spacestation Gaming also earned an opening victory after taking down NTMR in Group D.
