Earlier this month Psyonix confirmed the return of the RLCS in 2025. Now, RLCS 2025 Birmingham Major has just been announced as the first event of the year – let’s take a closer look.
RLCS 2025 Birmingham Major – Back to Britain
It’s no secret that British venues absolutely love some competitive Rocket League and Rocket League betting. Bearing this in mind, the announcement of the RLCS 2025 Birmingham Major was well-received by the community.
Celebrating the increased prize pool of $5,000,000 for 2025, the tournament is one of three scheduled for 2025:
- RLCS Major 1: Birmingham UK – March 27-30th
- RLCS Major 2: TBA – June 26-29th
- Rocket League World Championship: TBD – September 16-21st
Ahead of RLCS 2025 Birmingham, qualifications kick off on January 3rd 2025. This tournament will put into place some of the changes for RLCS 2025 such as the use of Open Qualifiers.
Last year, RLCS Major 2 was hosted at London with massive success, crowning G2 Stride after an epic Bracket run for the ages.
