JT Replaces siuhy as Team Liquid Overhaul IGL Role for BLAST Bounty
Team Liquid has moved Kamil ‘siuhy’ Szkaradek to the bench, ending a 15-month stint on the active roster and clearing the way for Johnny ‘JT’ Theodosiou, who was already submitted as part of Liquid’s roster for BLAST Bounty Season 2 ahead of a formal announcement.
Siuhy joined Liquid in April 2025 following his removal from MOUZ but never replicated the form that defined his time with the German org. The team’s VRS ranking cascaded through repeated group stage exits, struggles at tier-two LANs to preserve Major invites, and a 2-3 exit from Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major – During their 2026 run, Liquid averaged among the worst T-side win rates in the entire scene.

Roster State Heading Into BLAST Bounty Season 2
This is the second move of Liquid’s off-season. The org previously replaced Roland ‘ultimate’ Tomkowiak with Georgi ‘Jorko’ Mitev, leaving both ultimate and siuhy on the bench. The active five heading into the new season are Keith ‘NAF’ Markovic, Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski, Mario ‘malbsMd’ Samayoa, Jorko, and Viktor ‘flashie’ Tamás Bea as coach, pending JT’s formal announcement.
JT arrives from Passion UA carrying a career rating of 0.92 – modest mechanically but consistent with a system-first IGL profile. The swap is a clear pivot away from siuhy’s style toward a caller with a different structural approach, though Liquid’s individual firepower on paper remains unchanged.

What Happens Next
The revamped lineup’s first test is a July 24 opener against Vitality – ranked second in the world – in BLAST Bounty Season 2. It’s an unforgiving debut that will immediately signal whether the IGL change addresses the T-side dysfunction that defined Liquid’s 2026 or whether deeper structural problems persist.
