In this betting preview, we’re taking a closer look at the most competitive teams to consider for your LoL betting at LCK Season Rounds 1-2. Moreover, at the last update, we’re roughly halfway through this league tournament.

Gen.G Esports – Back on Top

Ahead of the competition, we predicted Gen.G to be at the top of their game hoping to bounce back against Hanwha Life Esports after losing twice to them.

Accordingly, Gen.G Esports answered the call and are at the top of the standings at the time of writing with a 6-0 record. Moreover, this run has involved victories over their biggest competitors in Hanwha Life Esports, T1 and Dplus KIA.

Indeed, without a doubt, they are back to being one of the best LoL teams and are heavy favourites to make it to MSI.

Meanwhile, just under Gen.G, Dplus and Hanwha Life Esports are deadlocked at second place with an identical 5-1 record and compelling LoL odds.

Hanhwa Life Esports dived into LCK Season Rounds 1-2 as absolute favourites after dominating the 2025 First Stand Tournament. Starting the season with a surprising loss to Gen.G, Hanwha has bounced back nicely and looks forward to a rematch against Gen.G.

Moreover, Dplus and Hanwha face off in Week 4 – a highly anticipated match.

Although Hanwha would be favoured in this match-up, Dplus is certainly no pushover. Just like Hanwha, Dplus has only lost to Gen.G so far to maintain the momentum from their third-place finish at LCK Cup 2025.

While Gen.G enjoy an early lead, Hanwha and Dplus can easily turn the tables later on in the season.

T1 – Not There Yet

Following the chaos from the T1 roster change, “Smash” and his introduction to the roster has been a mixed bag.

So far this season, T1 has lost to the likes of BFX, Hanwha and Gen.G while winning their other 3 games. Of note, T1 played Gen.G relatively close, managing to win a map against them.

However, their losses portray a lack of consistency at the time of writing. We look forward to seeing how this roster matures and their chances of making it to MSI.
