LEC Season Finals 2023 Format and Schedule
After a season of competition, nothing else matters except making it to Worlds 2023. This event is the last event of the LEC season as outlined in our LEC betting guide.
To do so, the following best six teams from the entire season have earned their spot as follows:
- Championship Points – Team BDS, Excel Esports, SK Gaming, Fnatic
- Winter & Summer – G2 Esports
- Spring – MAD Lions
The only thing that stands in the way of these teams from making it to Worlds is a double elimination bracket with BO5 matches, offering fantastic League of Legends betting. The top 3 head to Worlds, 4th heads to the Worlds Qualifying Series.
With one final weekend of competition, here’s the LEC Season Finals 2023 schedule:
Lower Bracket Semifinal
- 09/02 – Fnatic vs Team BDS (18:00 CEST)
Upper Bracket Final
- 09/03 – MAD Lions vs G2 Esports (18:00 CEST)
In this LEC Season Finals betting preview, we’ll be taking a closer look at the matches thanks to odds provided by BC.Game.
As outlined in our BC.Game review, BC.Game is an incredibly reliable esports betting site – it’s for this reason that we’ll be using their betting odds to preview the scheduled matches.
LEC Season Finals 2023 Betting Predictions
Fnatic vs Team BDS
Although seeded higher through Championship Points, Team BDS hasn’t looked as strong as usual recently. Placing fifth at LEC Summer, their LEC Season Finals run started with an expected loss to G2 Esports.
In response, BDS took down SK Gaming with a sweep, now facing Fnatic. Meanwhile, Fnatic placed third at LEC Summer, starting their LEC Season Finals run with a tight win over Excel Esports.
Notably, Excel Esports finished second at the LEC Summer event.
Overall, this match determines which team has a slice of Worlds, and which team ends their season immediately.
Bearing this in mind, Fnatic is favoured to win this match and send Team BDS packing according to League of Legends betting sites.
- Predictions: Fnatic (3-1) Team BDS
- Odds: Fnatic Outright Win (-161), Team BDS Outright Win (+125)

MAD Lions vs G2 Esports
The MAD Lions now are trying to claw back their form from LEC Spring 2023. Finishing 7th at LEC Summer, they headed into the LEC Season Finals with low expectations.
However, after a surprising and dominant sweep over Excel Esports in the Upper Bracket Semifinals, MAD Lions look to be back in shape.
If so, they’ll need every bit of performance against their next opponents, the regional giants of G2 Esports.
For those unaware, G2 Esports have dominated the region this season and are the favourites to make it to Worlds.
Bearing this in mind, MAD Lions are the favourites here.
