Let’s not waste time and dive straight into the biggest piece of news – the M7 World Championship is being moved to January 2026. Moreover, this change has the off-season tournament taking place much later than usual, from its typical November setting to January of the next year. Without question, this tournament is the leading event for Mobile Legends betting sites.

Accordingly, MOONTON Games has made this change to make more room for third-party tournaments throughout the season as follows:

Indeed, these tournaments take place alongside the MPL regional events, the international Mid-Season Cup and M7 World Championship.

Overall, this calendar is rather reminiscent of that of PUBG Mobile, one of the Mobile Legend’s biggest rivals for mobile esports. In the long run, integrating third-party tournaments is essential for sustainability and to keep things interesting with Mobile Legends odds all year long.

MLBB 2025 – Expanding to China

Moreover, the other announcement worth discussing is MLBB’s expansion into China with the setup of MPL China.

Considering the esports boom noted in China, this is a fantastic move to improve the future of MLBB which is looking rather bright. Here’s what Mike Chu, Head of Regional Esports and China at MOONTON had to say:

MLBB’s global expansion continued in 2024 with the establishment of the Chinese league. We are excited to witness one of the world’s gaming powerhouses test their strength in the MLBB esports ecosystem.

Following a successful 2024, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang 2025 esports roadmap looks to improve on its past achievements and pave new avenues.
