Format and Schedule
There are three stages of competition – Play-In, Group Stage and Playoffs.
Firstly, the Play-in takes place between July 4-7th. Here, two groups of six teams compete in a single round robin with BO2 matches. Teams are seeded into this stage seeding from Western Europe, Eastern Europe, MENA, China, Southeast Asia, North America and South America with varying Dota 2 odds.
Here’s how the qualified teams have been seeded into two groups of six teams each:
- Group A – beastcoast, Blacklist International, Entity, G2xiG, LGD Gaming, Virtus.pro
- Group B – Aurora, Azure Ray, HEROIC, MOUZ, nouns, PSG Quest
A single round-robin decides the competition with BO2 matches, the top 3 from each group moving on together with half of the 4-5th teams to the Main Event Group Stage.
Next, the Group Stage takes place on July 10-14th with an identical format to the Play-In. The following teams have already earned a seed to this stage:

- WBG.XG
- Tundra Esports
- Team Liquid, OG
- Team Spirit
From each Group, the top four move on to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs, while the 5th to 6th place teams seed to the Lower Bracket of the Playoffs.
Taking place between July 16-21st, a double elimination bracket decides the Playoffs building up to a BO5 Grand Final. Likely, the Grand Final provides the best esports betting opportunity.
