The Dota 2 scene in 2025 is arguably the most competitive it has ever been, with rosters evolving and stars emerging. Every major tournament feels like a battle royale, where any team can shine or stumble.
With so many strong teams this year, keeping up with their form really helps when making smart Dota 2 predictions and betting choices, especially with The International right around the corner. Let’s check out the best Dota 2 teams in 2025 so far.
Top 10 Dota 2 Team Rankings – Best Dota Teams in 2025
This will be our top 10 list of the best Dota 2 teams in the world in 2025 at the time of writing, which may influence Dota odds. Some of these teams will make their appearance at this year’s TI, and they’re also listed in our Dota 2 The International betting guide.
However, this list is entirely subjective, weighed by performances from last season and, more importantly, recent events.
Below is a summary of our contemporary list of the top 10 Dota 2 teams in 2025.
Rank | Best Dota 2 Teams in 2025 |
---|---|
#10 | Tundra Esports |
#9 | PARIVISION |
#8 | Team Liquid |
#7 | Team Spirit |
#6 | Team Falcons |
#5 | BetBoom Team |
#4 | All Gamers Global (Team Tidebound) |

#1 | Talon Esports |
10. Tundra Esports
Tundra Esports has been the most dominant team of 2025 so far, consistently winning Dota 2 tournaments or at least landing on the podium. Their recent swap of dyrachyo for Crystallis has raised some eyebrows, but even with the latter still gelling with the squad, Tundra continues to look sharp.

With a star-studded lineup behind him, it’s only a matter of time before Crystallis fully settles in, and when that happens, Tundra could very well steamroll the competition like never before and form a new era.
9. PARIVISION
PARIVISION has taken things to the next level in 2025 with a ballsy move to replace Crystallis with the breakout star Satanic. The young prodigy is arguably the most promising carry this year, smashing the stats leaderboards to lead the pack in GPM, XPM, last hits, least deaths, and KDA.

That said, No[o]ne still remains the backbone of the team, expertly creating space and setting up opportunities for his cores to thrive.
With a blend of individual brilliance and team cohesion, PARIVISION has grown to become one of the best teams in the world, as shown in their dominant run at ESL One Raleigh 2025.
8. Team Liquid
Team Liquid has proven time and time again that they thrive under the pressure of LAN tournaments, consistently delivering deep runs.
Even after parting ways with 33, they managed to plug the gap with SaberLight, a promising replacement. Though he’s shown flashes of brilliance, he is still finding his footing as he remains the team’s weak link. It’ll take some time before he fully adjusts to the lineup.

Despite that, Liquid’s strength lies in the ability to make clutch plays and find ways back into the games, never giving up without a fight. They are one of the most difficult teams to beat with their unmatched resilience.
7. Team Spirit
Team Spirit saw their two stars, Yatoro and Collapse, take a break earlier this year, but both have returned, still performing like they’ve never left. Though their impact remains undeniable, the team’s inconsistency continues to be a concern.
They would often dominate the group stages, only to translate their higher seed to stumble once the playoffs hit. However, they are known for being the best team when playing from behind, displaying the incredible ability to turn deficits into wins. The catch? They seem to find themselves at a disadvantage way too often.
If Spirit can clean up their early game and start matches with the lead, there’s no telling how easily they could convert their advantages and return to their former glory.
6. Team Falcons
Team Falcons came into 2025 riding high off being the most dominant team in 2024, however, their recent form has taken a noticeable decline. On the surface, the Falcons look uncoordinated in some of their matches, which suggests internal issues that might be holding them back.

Still, it is undeniable that this roster is packed with talent. They possess some of the breakout stars in the world – Malr1ne and ATF – with seasoned veterans like Skiter, Cr1t, and Sneyking. When the Falcons are firing on all cylinders, they’re nothing short of unstoppable.
Right now, it’s a matter of whether they can rediscover their identity in time for the Esports World Cup and The International.
5. BetBoom Team
The BetBoom Team features some of the most mechanically skilled players on the planet, with Pure and gpk leading the charge. That said, their love for high-risk, low-reward moves often backfires, costing them crucial moments. However, when they’re in the zone, BetBoom is practically unbeatable, as they are arguably one of the best late-game team fighting squads in the world.

The biggest hurdle for them is managing tilt. Once things go south, the BetBoom Team begins making questionable decisions that lead to their demise. If they can tighten up their mental game and bring more discipline to their gameplay, BetBoom has all the tools to become a more consistent title contender.
4. All Gamers Global (Team Tidebound)
The All Gamers squad blends Chinese veterans and rising stars in a lineup full of promise. NothingToSay, in particular, has been performing at a dominant level, reminiscent of his 2021 prime, carrying the PSG.LGD roster on his back.

Previously operating under the unsponsored banner of Team Tidebound, the squad has already made impressive deep runs, taking matches against the best in the world. Now, with their recent signing to All Gamers, they’ve secured salaries and funded boot camps which can propel them to the next level.
With its newfound support, All Gamers Global will be a huge threat for the rest of the 2025 season.
3. Gaimin Gladiators
The Gaimin Gladiators have been on a bit of a downward slide since swapping dyrachyo for watson, though it’s clear the struggles aren’t solely on the carry player’s shoulders. One of the bigger issues has been star player Quinn, whose form has dipped significantly in 2025, causing the team to fall short of the dominance they once commanded.

Adding to the shuffle, the Gladiators have also replaced their captain Seleri, bringing in Malady to form a Kazakh duo in the safe lane. The new Dota map, featuring a larger one with more camps, has punished Gaimin’s usual style of closing out games in less than 30 minutes, forcing a difficult adaptation.
Still, with the roster’s wealth of experience, we should never count out a potential resurgence.
2. Aurora
Recently re-entering Dota 2, Aurora is now boasting a star-studded Eastern European lineup. However, having too many stars can often be a double-edged sword. The mechanical skills of their players are undeniable, but we have some high-risk, high-reward characters here, making their performances volatile and unpredictable.

Despite the occasional rollercoaster of throws and comebacks, Aurora’s roster is still packed with experience, having two TI winners on board. It’s a tricky lineup to make work, but with more time to gel and improve their approach, Aurora could start dealing some serious damage in the next few months.
1. Talon Esports
Talon Esports continues to carry the torch for Southeast Asia as the region’s most competitive team. Recently, the squad welcomed back 23savage, injecting a familiar spark into the lineup to boost their firepower and confidence.

This group of guys is a tough nut to crack – Talon can steal maps from even the best in the world, but their inability to close out matches remains their Achilles’ heel. They often fail to convert leads into map victories – a recurring issue that has kept them shy of the top.
While Talon are consistently good for deep tournament runs, their relative lack of experience tends to limit them to top-eight finishes. With a bit of refining, Talon certainly has the potential to improve.
