VALORANT Rostermania 2025 – The Biggest Moves
Since VALORANT Champions 2024, a flurry of roster changes has made for an interesting VALORANT Rostermania 2025. With too many roster changes to keep track of, we’re diving into only the most significant roster moves.
VCT Americas – yay is Back?
Let’s split up the news according to the region. First things first, here are the most thrilling stories from VCT Americas for VALORANT rostermania 2025:
- yay is back – signing with Evil Geniuses, Jacoob “yay” Whiteaker was once known as the best VALORANT players in the world during the Chamber meta. However, since the in-game changes and some team changes, he never found his form again. His return to VCT Americas is thrilling to say the least.
- aspas leaves Leviatan – seemingly unhappy with Leviatan, one of the best duelists in the world has jumped ship for MIBR. So far, the rest of the team remains to be built. In his place at Leviatan, “Demon1” from NRG has a chance to sign.
- G2 & Sentinels sign star duelists – Sentinels signing “N4RRATE” and G2 Esports signing “jawgemo” are huge moves which bring a tonne of firepower to either team. Notably, “jawgemo” is a former World Champion and an MVP at VALORANT tournaments.
VCT EMEA – KCorp Super Team?
Here’s a look at some of the most thrilling moves in VCT EMEA for VALORANT rostermania 2025:
- KCorp on the move – all eyes are on the new Karmine Corp team in VCT EMEA. Signing the legendary “saadhak” from Brazil, a former World Champion and a Master winner in “SUYGETSU”, they’re looking strong.
- Fnatic and Derke – Derke, the star duelist that has been the face of Fnatic for years, revealed his departure earlier this summer. We’re not sure if his replacement “kaajak” will fill in his shoes.
- Vitality is deadly – likely the best team in EMEA, Vitality has signed “Derke” from Dnatic and “Less” from LOUD to make for an incredibly strong team. If they can perform like they did in parts of this season as one of the best VALORANT teams, it’s looking good.
VCT Pacific & China – Anything?
Is anything happening in VCT Pacific & China? From what we can understand, rosters are still being built in these regions with the following stand-outs:
- Gen.G Rebuild – after a hugely eventful season, Gen.G surprised everyone when they dropped two players and now only have three players on the team. We’re curious to see if they can return to form.
- T1 is Buzzing – building on stars from DRX and Gen.G, T1’s roster is bolstered by the likes of “Meteor” and “BuZz” to improve their hopes ahead of the coming season.
- EDward Gaming Stick – the defending World Champions have enjoyed the off-season and have no interest in parting ways with no news from this team as of yet.
And that is the scoop on the most thrilling VALORANT Rostermania 2025 headlines – we’ll be sure to look out for any further changes.
