Grup Alpha – Heretics or Vitality?

The two favourites of VCT EMEA Stage 1 find themselves in Group Alpha. Meeting expectations at KICKOFF, Vitality’s new superteam cruised to victory to earn an international seed at Masters Bangkok. Despite a disappointing 4th place finish, they remain regional favourites.
Meanwhile, after a weak start ending with a surprising 3-0 loss to Liquid, Heretics has had time to regroup and prepare for this stage of competition. With a legacy of dominating EMEA last season, there’s no doubt that this roster will return to form for VALORANT betting.
On the other hand, Fnatic is a question mark. Although they did place 5-6th at KICKOFF, this roster has had time to practice and improve after later roster changes in December. Considering this, they could do better than third.
At the tail end of the group, a battle for fourth place will likely ensue between Na’Vi and GIANTX who have had equal records with equal hopes.

Similarly, Karmine Corp and BBL Esports have solid rosters with the potential to go off and make deep runs against the more consistent teams.
For this group, the challenge is that many of these solid rosters have had time to practice and prepare for this split, so we’re not sure what to expect. Besides Liquid and FUT, it’s anyone’s game for a spot in the Playoffs.
