MPL Brazil Season 5 Betting Insights – Format and Schedule

With a $40,000 prize pool, the MPL Brazil Season 5 event is spanning between July 8th and August 27th. Once again, like previous Mobile Legends tournaments, eight teams are competing as listed below:

  • RRQ Akira
  • Bigetron Sons
  • DreamMax e-Sports
  • Malvinas Brazil
  • Influence Chemin
  • Team Zeus E-sports
  • Cyber Hunters
  • Random Esports

The MPL Brazil Season 5 is split into two stages as outlined by ML betting sites.

Firstly, a Regular Season ranging between 8th July and 13th August has eight teams competing in a double round-robin format. Moreover, each match is a BO3, where a win earns a point and a loss minuses a point – only the top 6 move on to the Playoffs.

Kicking off on August 24th, the Playoffs offer a hybrid elimination bracket and crowns a new MPL Brazil champion.

Heading into the next week of competition, here are three exciting esports betting opportunities worth considering featuring the best Mobile Legends teams in Brazil:

4th August

  • Influence Chemin vs Cyber Hunters (23:00 CEST)

5th August 2023

  • Malvinas Gaming vs Randoms Esports (21:00 CEST)
  • Bigetron Sons vs DreamMax e-Sports (23:00 CEST)

Helping us preview each match are outright odds as provided by GG.Bet, a reliable esports betting site. Learn more about in our GG.Bet review!

Malvinas Gaming vs Randoms Esports

Next up is a tight match in the middle of the standings between Malvinas Gaming and Randoms Esports. Currently ranked fourth, Malvinas Brazil have proven their worth so far in the season, currently in the middle and looking good for a top 6 finish.

Meanwhile, as we mentioned, Randoms Esports is in the hot seat at 6th, with the teams beneath them gunning for their spot.

Unfortunately for Randoms, the Mobile Legends Bang Bang esports betting odds are in favour of Malvinas and their strong record.

  • Predictions: Malvinas Gaming (2-1) Randoms Esports
  • Odds: Malvinas Gaming Outright Win (-189), Randoms Esports Outright Win (+140)

Bigetron Sons vs DreamMax e-Sports

Next up, towards the top of the standings, DreamMax e-Sports look to defend their run against Bigetron Sons, who are currently in 5th place.

Sure while DreamMax e-Sports may look like the favourite, Bigetron Sons has been one of the top teams in MPL Brazil for multiple seasons now, placing second at the MPL BR Season 4 event.

Bearing this in mind, the odds are in favour of Bigetron Sons stopping DreamMax’s run and returning to form.

  • Predictions: Bigetron Sons (2-1) DreaMax e-Sports
  • Odds: Bigetron Sons Outright Win (-167), DreamMax e-Sports Outright Win (+125)
