Betting Site Pinnacle Unveils New ‘Future View’ Interface
The popular online betting site Pinnacle revealed a new interface called Future View last week. This revamps the brand’s website and aims to supercharge how customers can bet on anything from esports to football. Pinnacle aims to follow this up with new apps, a reworked live betting area, and a “significantly enhanced esports betting portal.”
Pinnacle’s next Future View version
The moves come as Pinnacle celebrates entering its third decade as one of the internet’s most popular bookmakers. The Future View version of the Pinnacle site certainly looks much more modern than the old version. Plus, it benefits from a more intuitive navigation system that makes it quicker to find betting markets such as esports.
With more betting fans starting to use smartphones and tablets, Pinnacle have also aimed to provide more of a consistent user experience across their desktop and mobile websites. There also looks to be a host of personalization features that can be adjusted in the user’s account to ensure that they can tailor the bookmaker’s services to their own needs.
New features on Pinnacle
The Future View website was created in a bid to cater to customers’ feedback and Pinnacle are planning to introduce several more new features in the near future. These include a brand new sportsbook app for Android and iOS devices, as well as a reworked live betting area that gives customers a new way to browse and bet on in-play betting markets.
In addition to this, Pinnacle has big plans to unveil a new and improved casino gaming area. Plus, you should get the chance to use the Asian line display option in the brand’s standard sportsbook & esportsbook.
However, it’s the promise of significant enhancements in the Pinnacle esports betting portal that might be of greatest interest to gamers. At the moment, Pinnacle serves up esports odds for a dozen different games.
Games covered
These include games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, League of Legends, StarCraft 2, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Warcraft 3, StarCraft Broodwar, Rocket League, King of Glory and World of Tanks. In this regard, read our guides on CS:GO betting, Dota 2 betting, Overwatch esports betting, how to place LoL bets, and about other esports games.
This is already a larger selection of esports than you can find at many other betting sites. But it would interesting to see if Pinnacle could also include odds for some of the breakthrough gaming hits of the past couple of years. These would include Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, Fortnite, or even Apex Legends.
In addition to this, it would be great if Pinnacle could upgrade their esports betting service to include live streaming. Other recommended operators such as Buff.bet esports betting site have found great success by embedding a live Twitch stream in their in-play betting area.
Pinnacle started operations in 1998, and the Curacao-based brand quickly gained a strong reputation for its very competitive sports betting odds. Although this came at the expense of not offering punters anything in the way of bonuses or promotions, it meant that Pinnacle became a valued place for any customer who was looking for some of the best odds on the market.
Pinnacle was also one of the first sports betting sites to include esports odds. The brand introduced esports betting options in 2010. And the number of odds for competitive gaming doubled between 2010 and 2014.

A Boost for players Esports Experience?
Esports is now the fourth biggest market for Pinnacle, and it has surpassed traditional sports such as rugby and golf. As of 2017, the brand had helped customers place more than five million bets on competitive gaming, and it’s thought that esports could become Pinnacle’s second-most popular betting option by 2020.
In order to provide customers with a superior esports betting experience, the brand partnered with the esports data provider GameScorekeeper in early 2019. This aimed to help Pinnacle maintain its reputation for providing low margins on betting odds and continue to deliver some of the highest betting limits currently on the market.
GameScorekeeper’s application programming interface has meant that accurate real-time scores can now instantly be implemented for 85% of all pro level esports tournaments. These currently cover some of the biggest esports such as Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Dota 2 and League of Legends.
However, Pinnacle’s esports ambitions don’t just stop with their betting odds. The betting site has also signed sponsorship deals with some of the world’s most well-known esports teams.
In July, we saw Pinnacle enter a global partnership with the Danish organization North.
This 18-month contract will see North players wearing jerseys with the Pinnacle logo on, and the betting site will also be collaborating with North on a range of exclusive content. This follows on from Pinnacle’s partnership with FACEIT that will see the bookmaker being the official betting partner for the ECS tournament for the seventh and eighth seasons.
