RLCS World Championship Betting Preview

With a number of betting sites to choose from, there are also various esports betting markets which are available for Rocket League betting. As part of our RLCS World Championship betting preview, we’ll be providing a short explanation of what’s out there.

Firstly, bets may either be live betting opportunities (in-play betting) or pre-play betting opportunities – these may be described as follows on esports betting sites:

  • Pre-play betting – betting on a match, tournament or map before it commences using information available prior to the start of whatever the betting market may be. These bets are more mainstream and perhaps, more straightforward.
  • In-play betting – while the match is ongoing, live betting allows users to weigh the odds at full speed and make decisions while taking in information as the match constantly changes.

RLCS World Championship 2023 Betting Guide

Once you’ve decided your setting, you’ll want to pick between standard or special bets.

Standard bets include simple outright betting opportunities. To explain, esports bookmakers list competitors and their odds for a tournament or a match, and users use these odds to place bets on the outcome.

In situations where bets may seem unbalanced, handicap betting is also an option.

Otherwise, there are special bets to consider too. Betitng on markets which focus on specific in-game events such as ‘Top Scorer’ or ‘Match MVP’ or ‘First Goal’. Such bets require a bit more in-game knowledge.

RLCS World Championship Predictions

Considering the most recent international Major concluded earlier in July, the standings from the Spring Split Major offer the best insight into predictions. Here’s how the competition stacked up at this last event:

  1. Team Vitality
  2. Team BDS
  3. Karmine Corp
  4. Rule One

Otherwise, Europe remains the top region, followed by North America.
