LEC Spring Week 3 – Final Week

Kicking off on 11th March, after exercising the inaugural Winter Split, the LEC Spring Split will conclude by 17th April.

Taking place offline at the Berlin, LEC Studio, a total of 10 franchised teams will be competing once again.

The stakes here are clear – apart from the $90,000 of prize pool, the winner of the split qualifies for the Mid-Season Invitational 2023 and secures a spot at the LEC Finals 2023 event.

In addition, there are a tonne of LEC Points up for grabs, which will be essential to qualify for Worlds 2023 later on in the year. Specifically, LEC Spring Week 3 will feature 15 BO1 matches.

This will be the final chance for the best League of Legends teams in Europe to try finish in the top 8 and qualify for the LEC Spring Group Stage. Once here, only the top 4 will make it to the final stage – the LEC Spring Playoffs.

From all the matches, we’ve selected three to preview:

LEC Spring Week 3 – Odds and Predictions

SK Gaming vs G2 Esports

Picking this first match was rather simple. Both SK Gaming and G2 Esports are on top of the entire LEC Spring leaderboard currently, and this match looks to be a heavyweight match-up.

Despite matching up evenly on the leaderboard, G2 Esports is favoured here considering their recent victory at the LEC Winter Split event. Regardless, we can’t wait to see how this match concludes, as it’s a fantastic betting opportunity.

Team Vitality vs Team BDS

Next time, we have two very evenly matched teams. Accordingly, placing in the top 8 at the LEC Winter 2023, they both sit at a 4-2 scoreline in the LEC Spring 2023.

Tied for first place, together with SK Gaming and G2 Esports, this match will provide huge insight into how the top 4 teams truly stack up. Anyways, thanks to Team Vitality’s superior placing at the last event, they’re favoured.

Excel Esports vs Astralis

Our third pick is a match which is tightly contested for a different reason.

Moreover, both Excel Esports and Astralis are in the bottom half of the leaderboard, hoping to stay in the top 8 contenders to bes their chances of qualifying to the LEC Spring Group Stage.

Considering Astralis currently sit in fifth place, Excel need this win more – can they upset here?
