Vertigo callouts in CS2: Our full guide

Love it or hate it, Vertigo is a staple of the CS2 map pool nowadays. It has undergone plenty of small changes over the years as Valve tries to win players over on the map. If you play Premier or FACEIT, the chances are you will be playing Vertigo at some point.

Because of this, you need to be prepared. Knowing all of the Vertigo callouts in CS2 is one of the best ways to help your teammates on the map. Screaming “He’s there!” when you see an enemy (or something equally unhelpful) doesn’t really count as information, so you need to learn these Vertigo callouts if you want to get better at CS2.

We’ve compiled a full guide of Vertigo CS2 callouts below in a comprehensive map, which should give you a hint of everything you need to give info on the server. You’ll hear many of these naturally while playing, but our map gives you a better idea of where exactly to look when they’re mentioned.

Vertigo is quite similar in comms style to the Nuke callouts when looking at all CS2 maps, as it has multiple levels of verticality. This can be pretty confusing when learning callouts. To make it easier, we’ve separated our map of Vertigo callouts in CS2 into Upper and Lower sections.

Although many players feel that Vertigo is long due a period out of the Active Duty map pool, there has been no indication this is the case. It seems like it’s here to stay. And as long as it’s still in the map pool, you still have to play it in Premier. This means you should also be learning how to communicate effectively with your team by using callouts.
