Roobet Cup 2022: Betting Tips and Analysis

The busy CS:GO tournament calendar continues. Teams are constantly competing in various tournaments online and offline. The next stop is Roobet Cup 2022. The 8-day-long tournament with a total prize pool of $250,000 will kick off on June 22. Here is the match schedule and predictions for the first day:
BIG vs Entropiq
Predictions: Total maps over 2.5
Odds: 2.03

When: June 22, 2022 – 15:00 CEST
The opening match of the tournament will feature BIG and Entropiq, two teams that recently faced off at IEM Dallas 2022. The series will be played best-of-three and online like the other group matches.
Both teams are not in good form. Entropiq have been on a good run at times, winning back-to-back games, but lately they have been struggling to win matches. BIG, on the other hand, will come into this match having lost their last four series.
Entropiq plays much more confidently and is organized in online matches. Although BIG seems to be the favorite, the series is likely to extend to the third map.
Astralis vs Movistar Riders
Predictions: Astralis to win

Astralis and Movistar Riders will initiate Group B. Both teams are in the top 20 of the World Rankings, but there is one side that really stands out in this series.
Astralis, one of the best organizations in CS:GO history, are still not fully settled after the rebuild. Movistar Riders, on the other hand, are performing better than expected in 2022. However, the Denmark-based organization seems to be one step ahead recently. That’s why they are my favorite.
FaZe Clan vs OG

Reigning Major champion FaZe Clan continue to participate in back-to-back tournaments after the championship. They first appeared at IEM Dallas 2022 and then at BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022. However, they didn’t get what they wanted in both events and went home early. FaZe Clan need a rest and I don’t think they will take Roobet Cup 2022 too seriously.
On the other side, OG now want to achieve something in the CS:GO scene. And there is no better opportunity to do that than tournaments like this. With their opponents tired and seeking for a rest, it wouldn’t be a surprise if OG win this match. In addition, they are in great form.
Even though the name of FaZe Clan stands out a lot, I don’t think they can win as easily as on paper.
Cloud9 vs Complexity
Predictions: Cloud9 to win
Odds: 1.07

This series is expected to be the most one-sided encounter of the day. Cloud9 are the big favorite in this clash between two teams that are on very different roads.
Cloud9 come here with the title of IEM Dallas 2022 winners. On top of that, their performance is at a very high level. Their opponents Complexity, on the other hand, have lost 8 of their last 10 matches. They need to work harder to be among the good teams. Fun fact, Cloud9 are already among those teams.
It’s hard to see any other possibility other than Cloud9 winning.
