LCS Championship 2024 Betting – Team Liquid are Unstoppable?
As the highlight event of the region for the season, our LCS Championship 2024 betting insights could prove vital for the ongoing Playoffs. Moreover, we’re diving into the format, schedule, odds and more in this LCS Championship 2024 playoffs preview.
Team Liquid – Undefeated Giants
Predictions don’t get much simpler when you have a team going undefeated in the LCS Summer season with a 7-0 record. Ever since rebuilding half of their roster in November of last year, this team has looked simply unstoppable.
As defending regional champions, having won the LCS Spring Playoffs, Liquid also impressed with a 5-6th finish at MSI 2024. They are expected to defend their regional throne here as undisputed favourites according to LoL odds.
Cloud9 – Clear Contenders
If there’s one team that can challenge Team Liquid, it’s Cloud9. Dominating the LCS last season, they did fall on some tough times after finishing third at the LCS 2024 Spring tournament.
Making a small roster change in April 2024, this team drastically improved in the LCS Summer season, only suffering a loss to Team Liquid in a close 2-1 match. This result alone gives Cloud9 every chance of causing an upset here and claiming the LCS throne over their rivals Team Liquid.
FlyQuest – Fighting for Worlds
Outside of the top 2, the contention for the third spot at Worlds is a lot more contested.
The clear defender here is FlyQuest, seeded in third, they are the favourites to keep Dignitas, 100 Thieves and NRG at bay as all teams fight for a chance to head to Worlds.
Throughout the LCS Season, FlyQuest took down every single one of the remaining teams except for Cloud9 and Team Liquid.
Bearing this in mind, Dignitas, 100 Thieves and NRG are all very closely matched – these teams likely offering great matches in the Lower Bracket but unlikely to make it into the top 3 according to League of Legends betting sites
