Six Invitational Format
Moving on to the format, the event is sticking to the usual two stages – Group Stage and Playoffs.

Group Stage
Starting off with the Group, the competition will be split into four round-robin format groups of five teams each.
From the 7th to the 11th of February, each team will play 5 best-of-three matches with the following stakes for each group:
- 1st place – advances to Upper Bracket Round 2 of Playoffs
- 2-3rd place – advances to the Upper Bracket Round 1 of Playoffs (2nd place teams choose 3rd place opponent)
- 4th place – advance to the Lower Bracket of Playoffs
- 5th place – eliminated
It’s worth noting, especially if considering Six Invitational betting that the Group Stage has a unique scoring system:
- 3 points for a 2-0 win
- 2 points for a 2-1 win
- 1 point for a 1-2 loss
- 0 points for a 0-2 loss
Playoffs
The Playoffs will then take place between the 13th and 19th of February. Here, a double elimination bracket will take place with best-of-three matches. For those unaware, this implies that teams in the Upper Bracket will be demoted to the Lower Bracket should they lose – an additional loss in the Lower Bracket means elimination.
An epic best-of-five Grand Final with a packed crowd, animated broadcast and the two best Rainbow Six Siege teams in the world will round off the competition.
Six Invitational Schedule – Waiting on Details
The schedule remains unclear because the randomized seeding for the Group Stage is yet to be announced.
However, we strongly recommend tuning into the Rainbow Six Esports Twitter page to receive the latest updates on the event.
