Welcome to our guide that shows you the best FIFA players in the world of esports right now. We’ve been analysing FIFA players over the past few months and have ranked and rated their performances to come up with this shortlist of the best in the business. Take a look below to see which FIFA players you should be betting on!
How we picked the top 10 FIFA players right now
We realise that everyone is going to have their own favourite FIFA esports players. After all, football is a fairly divisive sport and the same thing is definitely true of its esport equivalent.
So we have looked back over the past few months of action in top FIFA esports tournaments to see which players helped their teams achieve gaming glory. It was no easy task to narrow it down to just 10 contenders for being the best FIFA esports player in the world. Esports fans may disagree with some of our decisions but we are fairly sure that any of these players could be worth a bet or two.
1. Msdossary7 – Mossad Aldossary
You only have to watch a FIFA esports live stream of Msdossary7 to see why this gamer is so highly rated. The Saudi Arabian gamer burst onto the scene back in 2018 when he won the FIFAe World Cup aged just 18 years old. This was his debut appearance and it showed a new level of gameplay for the football simulator. From here, Msdossary7 has gone on to appear at over 20 FIFA tournaments and has racked up over $600,000 in prize pool winnings making him one of the all-time greats. As such, we just had to have Msdossary7 down as being the best FIFA player in the world esports.
2. Tekkz – Donovan Hunt
There are lots of people who would have had Tekkz down as being the best FIFA player in the world esports and it’s easy to see why. The English gamer quickly rose to the headlines when he destroyed his opponents aged just 16 years at the FUT Champions Cup in Spain in 2018. Above all, Tekkz has a full-rounded game that makes him seriously hard to defend against, while he’s developed an impressive defensive game. Tekkz has kept his trophy cabinet well stocked since then with impressive title wins including the eChampions League. Watch Tekkz playing either for Fnatic or Liverpool in the ePremier League and you’ll understand why we simply had to include him in our shortlist.
3. nicolas99fc – Nicolas Villalba
This Argentinian gamer has shown incredible gameplay since he first came onto the scene back in 2016. He currently plays for Basel 1893 and was part of a winning combination with Tekkz to win the FIFA eClub World Cup in 2019. Popularly known as being ‘the Iceman’, nicolas99fc has shown that he can keep his cool no matter how much pressure there is to win, and his PlayStation gaming skills are beyond question. He currently has over $340,000 in prize winnings and it’s easy to see him making much more.
4. Umut – Umut Gultekin
You’ll know all about this German gamer from his masterful win at the 2022 FIFAe World Cup. It’s too early to say whether Umut is going to be one of the all-time greats but it looks like he is well on his way. At the moment, Umut plays for RBLZ which is the esports offshoot of the German Bundesliga team RB Leipzig. We’re going to keep a close eye on the German star to see how he plans to add to his already impressive $350,000 in prize winnings.
5. Ollelito – Olle Arbin
Ollelito is definitely one of the rising stars of the FIFA pro gaming scene. He plays on PlayStation and Xbox for TG.NIP and Ninjas in Pyjamas respectively and he has managed to earn over $150,000 in prize winnings since he made his first appearance back in 2018. Highlights for Ollelito include a FIFA 2020 Stage 3 FUT 20 Champions Cup and he always manages to work wonders for his Swedish national team. Plus with thousands of followers on his YouTube and Twitch channels, there is no denying that Ollelito is one to watch.
6. Zezinho – Henrique Lempke
This Brazilian esports player might have taken some time to get going, but there is no denying that he is one of the best FIFA gamers right now. As part of the esports team Dux, Zezinho has shown that he has incredible skill all over the pitch and has made over $130,000 in the 13 different FIFA tournaments that he has appeared in.
7. Shellzz – Shaun Springette
We simply had to include Shellzz for his masterful performances in the ePremier League. The British gamer won the ePremier League Finals in 2021 when he was playing for Manchester City. From here, he has gone from strength to strength and is thought to have clocked up over $132,000 from his pro gaming.
8. Crazy Fat Gamer – Diego Campagnani
While Crazy Fat Gamer has been around for many years now, we couldn’t miss the Italian star off our shortlist. After all, he has won no less than three Live League Grand Finals and has managed to stay reasonably competitive with over $53,000 in prize winnings.
9. Thomas Leese
This British gamer has managed to put on solid appearances at most major FIFA tournaments. With an amazing win in the ePremier League as Watford and an impressive third place in the 2020 FIFAe Club World Cup, there was no way that we could miss Thomas Leese off this list. He’s already made $150,000 in prize winnings from his FIFA gaming and we think that there could be plenty more prize money coming his way.
10. Filfilza – Flavio Brito
Another Brazilian player who keeps getting better and better. While Filfilza has yet to get any major tournament wins under his belt, we think that it is only a matter of time. You can check out Filfilza playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the ePremier League and see how this Brazilian ace keeps taking FIFA gaming to the next level.
Who we missed off our list of best FIFA esports players
To be honest, there are so many great FIFA players out there that we had a really hard time narrowing this list down to just 10. After all, it seems unfair to miss out Christopher Holly following his 2021 eMLS Cup win. Plus lots of people will be wondering why we didn’t include MoAuba after his outstanding win at the 2019 eFIFA World Cup Grand Finals. Sadly, there just wasn’t enough room for everyone.
