How many GB is Fortnite on PC and Mac?
For creative mode, its recommended that you save roughly 50-60 Gigabytes of storage. However, for standard Fortnite play, you only need to save about 26GB of space.
Fortnite Console Space
- PlayStation 5: The game takes up approximately 50 GB.
- PlayStation 4: Expect to use around 40 GB.
- Xbox Series X/S: The game size is about 50 GB.
- Xbox One: Similar to PS4, it’s around 40 GB.
It’s surprising that the older versions of Fortnite have similar file sizes but this is likely because the jump to Unreal Engine 5 allowed for some optimizations for the newer hardware that didn’t backdate to last-generation systems.
