BetUK Logo Welcome to our BetUK review! In this review, we will dive into this brand and investigate the games on offer, the markets available to bet on, its customer support and any payment methods available. Further to this, we will also look to answer the typical questions such as ‘what is the BetUK welcome bonus?’ and ‘is BetUK legit?’.

Before we head on into this review we feel it’s pretty important to let you know that BetUK is part of the Leo Vegas group of brands (of which another one of their brands feature on esportsbets.com as part of our 21.co.uk review). As such, right away, we can tell you that BetUK is one of the safest and most secure brands on the web. Leo Vegas in their own right are giants of the industry — and as a result of this, we’re super excited to get stuck in. Enjoy the review!

Editors Review: BetUK is way up there with the best!

Summary

At esportsbets.com we like to kick things off with the editor’s review — which is a summary of our findings presented to you by our editor.

Overall, given that BetUK is licensed by the UKGC and is headed up by Leo Vegas — whom you can read more about in our LeoVegas review — we knew the esportsbets.com team were in for a treat. This brand pretty much had everything we were expecting — a sleek and smooth interface, a wild amount of betting markets available and even a pretty decent casino; something you don’t often find on products that focus primarily on the sportsbook side of things.

We were also pleased to find that six-time champion jockey Kieran Fallon was in partnership with BetUK. We generally find that brand ambassadors only work with reputable brands and this only contributes to an overall higher rating.

And while we’ll dive deep into the range of promotions later, we’re happy to announce already that BetUK has a few things for you to get excited about.  Not only is the initial BetUK welcome bonus quite good, but there are also a wide range of additional promotions.

So yeah, ultimately, if you’re looking for a top-tier, UK-licensed and super secure brand, we really do recommend BetUK.

The BetUK Welcome Bonus: Bet £20 and get £60 in Free Bets

At esportsbets.com we know that the welcome bonus is one of the most crucial perks when it comes to signing up to a bookmaker. Why? Because 1) it gives you sufficient funds to try a bookmaker’s offering before committing and 2) it gives you the chance to grow your bankroll while also mitigating any risk.

As such, when brands such as BetUK offer bonuses such as bet £20 and get £60 in free bets, we have to admit, we get pretty excited. But how does it all work? Well, it’s rather simple. All you need to do is sign up to BetUK, deposit £20, bet on odds of 1.5 or higher and you’ll get £60 of free bets added to your account. Awesome!

The free bets are staggered, though. The £60 in free bets that you’ll get will consist of:

So, while there are various limitations on how and when you can use the bet, it’s still rather generous. And to be honest, the minimum odds of 1.3 or more per the £10 free bets aren’t the highest on the market.

BetUK Review

There are a number of T&Cs that you need to be aware of though:

  1. New customers only — of course!
  2. Qualifying bets must be made within 7 days of registration.
  3. Only bets of odds over 1.5 (½) made with the initial deposit will trigger the bonus.
  4. Qualifying bet must be £20 or more.
  5. Free bets expire within 7 days.
  6. Otherwise, you can find the rest of the T&Cs on BetUK’s website.

BetUK also offers a wide range of other sportsbook bonuses, including: Monthly Racing Offers (basically further free bet tokens for horse racing), Monthly Football Offers and the Bet UK Acca Club.

And finally, in terms of casino bonuses, BetUK are currently offering a £100 first deposit bonus + 10 wager-free spins. And though we admit this isn’t the most generous casino bonus on the market, it really isn’t so bad when compared to many other sportsbook casino bonuses. Again, there are associated terms and conditions, which we advise you look into when signing up.

Exploring the BetUK products in detail

Alright! Now we’ve taken you through the ins-and-outs of the BetUK welcome bonus, we can dive deep into our reviews — we’ll take you through our BetUK esports review, which is then followed by a sports betting and casino review. Let’s get started.

Esports Betting

Let’s get started with what we know best — esports betting. As you can imagine, being backed by Leo Vegas, there should be a wide range of available betting markets for esports. And truth be told — there is! At the time of writing there were odds available for nine titles: CS:GO, COD, Dota2, HotS, LoL, R6, Rocket League, SC2 and Valorant odds. When compared to what we found in our ZulaBet review, it’s clear to see that being backed by such a large organisation such as Leo Vegas, there are immediate advantages.

BetUK esports

In terms of available esports tournaments to bet on at BetUK, there were a few. For example, if you’re a CS:GO punter then at the time of writing markets were available for the WePlay Academy League. For Dota fans odds were available for the Champions League and PGL Arlington. League, on the other hand, had a lot… and we mean a lot… of available tournaments (15 in total), with major events such as LCS and LCK all covered. Honestly, for tournaments and odds alone (not even including the general experience of betting at BetUK), we have to admit — the range of esports odds here is awesome. For all esports bettors we highly recommend you check our BetUK.

Sports Betting

So, as you can see from our BetUK esports review, we rate them highly in terms of available markets on offer and range of tournaments. But how does our general BetUK review of their sports product hold up? The short answer: amazingly well. The long answer: well, let’s take you through it in a bit more detail. Firstly, the user interface is incredibly simple. On the left you have the main menu — with the sub menu slightly right to that (when selecting the betting options) providing the user with a whole host of options in terms of sports to bet on. We have horse racing markets, greyhound markets, BetUK special, football markets, Premier League markets (plus markets for many other leagues), plus more-niche markets such as TV & Novelty, Politics, Trotting, Pesapello and surfing all available. Honestly, you’re spoiled for choice.

When checking out their horse racing markets, for example, we were pretty impressed by their simple and clear to use interface. Simply head to the day you want to place your bet and you will be met with all available meetings (i.e. Chester, Galway and Market Rasen at the time of writing). Then click on the time of the race you want to bet on (there are various markets with EW+, which give you extra places or enhanced odds) and then select your horse (or horses, depending on the bet you wish to place).

In summary, are we big fans of the sportsbook at BetUK? Yes. 100%.

Casino

We won’t go too into detail about BetUK’s casino product because, realistically, it’s a sportsbook with a casino offering more than anything else. There are a solid amount of slot games on offer (e.g. Cleopatra, Fishin’ Frenzy, Deal or No Deal Megaways and Eye of Horus), but nothing compared to the likes of what we found in our Wazamba review. You’ll also find a range of live casino and regular table games — basically, all the classics such as blackjack, roulette, baccarat etc. So yeah, BetUK offers casino, and the BetUK welcome offer for casino isn’t so bad, but if you want a pure casino experience we recommend you go elsewhere. Customer Support at BetUK: As good as you can expect

BetUK offers a good customer support service. They have a dedicated help centre which will solve the majority of your queries — but you can also just click the chat icon in the bottom right-hand corner and after providing your name, email and a quick summary of your issue, you’ll be connected with a live chat agent pretty swiftly. Overall, our experience of customer support at BetUK was good.

Payment methods at BetUK: The typical payment methods covered

BetUK accepts deposits from most major providers. We had no difficulty depositing — the process was rather straightforward. In terms of methods available, you can deposit with: Visa/Mastercard, Bank Transfer and PayPal. And while this is considerably less than other bookmakers, this is more than enough to accommodate 99% of online players.

Security and licensing: Is BetUK safe?

BetUK is licensed by the UKGC. This licence is one of the most difficult to get and requires brands to comply with a whole host of strict measures. Further to this, BetUK is protected with the latest SSL technology, ensuring that all communications between yourself and BetUK are encrypted.

Our final thoughts on BetUK: Is BetUK legit?

In summary, given that the BetUK welcome offer is pretty generous and that during our BetUK esports review we found that there were a huge amount of odds on offer, we can safely recommend this brand to you. Head on over to BetUK today and claim their bet £20 and get £60 in free bets bonus. Enjoy!
