Summary

We have reviewed a lot of brands here at esportsbets.com — and while many merge into what we think of as ‘general betting websites’, we’re happy to say that Guts.com (at least from a design perspective) is rather stylishy put together. First and foremost their website is a breeze to use and is, when compared to many other esports betting websites on the market, very well put together. We believe it’s their light and airy appearance that really sets the tone here.

When it comes to their sportsbook offering, during our Guts.com review we found most was covered — but were super surprised to see no horse racing odds were on offer. Now, that might not be too upsetting for a typical esports punter, but if you’re a fan of having a bet on the gee-gees (or horses, if you’re from anywhere other than the UK) then sadly, you’re out of luck. But looking further into guts.com’s esports markets, we have to admit — the offering is pretty light. While we’ll go into more detail further on in the review, we can say already there are better places to bet on esport.

Ultimately, it is their casino section which shines through on Guts.com. If you’re looking for a top online casino, our Guts.com review found you’ll have a great time here.

The Guts Welcome Bonus: 100% Casino Welcome Bonus

Let’s start off with the bad-ish news — there is no sportsbook welcome bonus available at Guts. While understandably disappointing for those looking for a Guts esports review where an esports betting bonus was tested, it’s not uncommon for casino-orientated products to offer only a casino bonus.

Guts welcome bonus

It does get better, though. In fact, the Guts welcome bonus for casino is pretty damn generous. In fact, it comes in the form of a 100% up to €100 bonus. Meaning if you deposit €100 at Guts you will get €200 to play with. How about that? Pretty solid, right!

But that’s not all! No, you’ll also get a spin on the ‘Game of Guts’. ‘What’s the game of Guts?’, you’re probably thinking. Well, it’s pretty simple. It’s a classic ‘spin the wheel’ type game, where not only will you have the opportunity to win free spins and super spins (enhancers for regular slot games), you’ll also get the chance to win €2,500 right off the bat. And don’t think it’s a one-time kinda deal — by playing with Guts on a regular basis, you’ll fill up your progress bar and, when it’s full, have another shot of spinning the ‘Game of Guts’.

Alright. Back to the welcome bonus. There are a few particular terms and conditions you need to be aware of when it comes to the Guts welcome bonus:

  • You will need to make a minimum deposit of €10.
  • Only your first deposit will trigger the bonus.
  • Your welcome bonus comes with one free spin of the ‘Game of Guts’.
  • You must be above the legal age to gamble in your country to sign-up.
  • Wagering requirements apply (check website for full T&Cs).
  • ‘Game of Guts’ is available for 7 days after sign-up.

Of course, you can get the full terms and conditions from the Guts website — and we always recommend our readers to check those out first.

Guts welcome bonus

Finally, there are a variety of other promotions available on Guts. These include:

  • Spinsanity (30 free spins).
  • €3,000 in Cash (and other cash giveaways).
  • €500k in Monthly Prizes.
  • Live Casino Welcome Bonus (€100).
  • €1000 Poker Welcome Offer.
  • …plus many, many more.

So yeah, we highly recommend checking out Guts for their range of welcome offers alone. You should also check out another review of our’s to find out about the Rizk welcome bonus.

Exploring the Guts Products in Detail

Now you know about the Guts welcome bonus range, let’s take a look at our Guts review in a little more detail. In this section, we’ll break down their esports, sportsbook and casino offering.

Guts Esports Betting

We like to kick things off with our Guts  esports review at esportsbets.com because, you know, we’re an esports website. And as mentioned in the editor’s review, we were a bit underwhelmed with the offering. Firstly, in comparison to our other reviews (such as CampoBet), there were far fewer ante-post betting markets for upcoming tournaments, with only Dota betting and CS:GO featuring on the main markets menu. It was only after doing some digging (via a user interface which isn’t super easy to use), that we also found esports odds for League of Legends, SC2 and Kings of Glory. Annoyingly, if your game of choice isn’t available in the top-menu, you have to work through an awkward filter, selecting different titles one-by-one. Overall, pretty clumsy. But otherwise, the range of esports betting markets was pretty decent and possibly on par with what we found in our Bet365 review.

Guts esports

When it comes to the odds on offer, again, we were slightly underwhelmed. Take for example an upcoming Dota 2 match (B4 esports vs Meta Gaming Brasil), all that is on offer is outright winner, map handicaps and total maps. No map-by-map betting here. A shame really. But again, with Guts.com being a casino brand, we’re not shocked to see a lack of esports betting odds.

Guts Sports Betting

During our Guts review of their sportsbook we found there was much more on offer and overall a better laid out interface. You are initially hit with the live section of the website, which provides you with all current fixtures available to bet on. It’s neat, simple to use, and has a handy filter at the top. As you can imagine the main focus is on football (being one of the most popular betting sports), but by selecting the sport-by-sport filters at the top, you can find live odds, or ‘starting soon’ odds across a variety of sports.

Guts review

In terms of total sports to bet on, there are a good few at Guts — in fact, during our Guts review, and at the time of writing, we found twelve sports to bet on in total. Again, when compared against our Bet365 esports review, it’s clear that Guts offers much less. But of course, for the casual punter who is looking for main markets to bet on, there is enough here to keep most people occupied. Overall, the Guts sportsbook won’t keep you entertained. But if you were wondering ‘is Guts legit when it comes to sports betting?’, we can safely answer yes, but not the best out there.

Casino Offer

Finally, on to our Guts review of their casino. And honestly, this is the place you want to spend your Guts welcome bonus. There is a gargantuan amount of slot games here — with some top-notch titles on offer such as Book of Dead, Starburst, Big Bass Bonanza and Reel Rush 2. Honestly, if it’s slots you want, check out Guts. There are even some amazing jackpot games on offer here; take the MegaWays network Poseidon: Ancient Fortunes with Wow Pot! Megaways. This game, at the time of writing, had a total jackpot of over €14,000,000+. Then their Mega Moolah jackpot from Microgaming comes in at over €2 million. We saw some pretty crazy bonuses on offer during our review.

Guts casino

But it’s not only slots and jackpot slots on offer at Guts. There is also the classic range of table games (e.g blackjack, baccarat, roulette, dice, craps), and also a top-notch live casino, managed in part by Evolution Gaming (with their stylish range of live blackjack, roulette and baccarat games), while also pushing titles from other live casino developers such as Peek Baccarat, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette and Gold Bar Roulette. Honestly, if we can recommend one thing about Guts, it’s that you should check out their casino.

Customer Support at Guts: A Little Tricky to Use

So, while Guts has a decent customer support service, it’s pretty tricky to find. The only real way to access it is via a small question mark in the bottom corner of your screen. It blends in to the point where it takes a while to find it. From there, you are taken to a classic FAQ page, where you’ll get answers to all the common questions, while also offering access to their live chat, email and ‘request a callback service’.

Guts customer support

At the time of writing the ‘request a callback’ option was not available. Apparently, their lines were ‘clogged up’, while live chat asked for a large multitude of items before initiation. Not bad, but not the sleekest. Still, it’s not super tricky to get hold of customer support.

Payment Methods at Guts: All Common Deposit Methods Covered

In terms of deposit methods, there are a good few available. Here’s a summary of what they offer:

  • Paysafecard
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Entropay
  • Sofort
  • Zimpler
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

Basically, if you hold one of the common payment methods, depositing at Guts is easy.

Security and Licensing: Is Guts Safe?

One of the most common questions we get asked is ‘is Guts legit?’. And one of the core things that is associated with this is whether or not the product is safe. Well, fortunately, Guts is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission — arguably the premier licence to be held by any gambling company. (Guts also holds an MGA licence). Furthermore, as the website is secured via SSL technology, all your communications are safe, secure and encrypted. So yes, during our Guts esports review, we found the brand to be safe.

Our Final Thoughts on Guts: Is Guts Legit?

Guts is a stellar casino brand with plenty to offer for slots and table game fans. When it comes to summarising our Guts review, though, we can confirm the answer to ‘is Guts legit?’ is yes, we weren’t particularly surprised during our Guts esports review. The Guts welcome bonus for casino is top-notch though, so we recommend checking them out just for that.
