Best Fortnite Skins 2024: Which Are The Top 10 Most Popular Skins in Fortnite?
So, you want to flash your cash, and show off your Fortnite fashion to the rest of the world? Well, look no further than our list of the very best Fortnite skins 2024! Some you can buy with V-Bucks while some you can pick up from grinding in Battle Passes.
Keep in mind that this list of the best Fortnite skins is absolutely a subjective one. Don’t complain if a skin worn by one of the best Fortnite streamers isn’t on the list, there are far too many skins to fit in one comprehensive list.
Here are the Top 10 Fortnite Skins
Because we’ll be indicating the rarity of these best Fortnite skins here’s a reminder of how skin rarity in Fortnite is ranked:
- Default (Grey)
- Uncommon (Green)
- Rare (Blue)
- Epic (Purple)
- Legendary (Orange)
So, does being rare make skins more desirable? The following are our favourite top 10 best Fortnite skins available right now:
10. The Reaper
Rarity: Legendary (Orange)
Cost: Tier 100 on Season 3 Battle Pass (base Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks)
While this skin is not available for purchase, it is still the grandaddy of legendary Fortnite skins. Back in 2018 if you saw a player with this skin, you knew you had to run for the hills. The only way to pick up this John Wick inspired skin was to reach Tier 100 in the original Season 3 Battle Pass. The skill and time required back in the early days of the Battle Royale made this skin one of most popular fortnite skins all time reserved for the top Fortnite players.
9. Blackheart
Rarity: Legendary (Orange)
Cost: Tier 1 on Season 8 Battle Pass
This is included in the list because of its many different variations. It may not be the coolest skin in the beginning. A basic hooded pirate is not all that interesting. However, it has eleven different stages of the skin. Once you hit 80,000 EXP with the Blackheart skin, the face disappears and is replaced with a truly cool and terrifying bearded skull.
8. Predator
Rarity: Legendary (Orange)
Cost: Jungle Hungter Quests of Chapter 2: Season 5 Battle Pass
Yes, you guessed it – we’re going to feature a lot of mainstream media cross-overs in this list considering their immense popularity. Kicking things off is the Legendary skin which is no longer available, in the form of the trained beast – Predator. As a playable enemy, at the time, everyone was trying their best to earn this skin.
As part of the Jungle Hunter Set, one of the unique parts of this skin was the ability to either wear a mask or not – to not wear the mask players had to unlock this by visiting a part of the map! Way back in 2021, only the top Fortnite players had this skin!
7. Potassius Peels
Rarity: Rare (Blue)
Cost: 1200 V-bucks
An absolute classic. Harking back to the rich history of the classic character of ‘Peel’, this iteration involved a Roman flavour to the beloved character.
Evolving from the former Peel, Potassius may not be the most recent version of this character, but his loadout is simply awesome to look at. Combined with the emotes, where one can offer a thumb gesture like an Emperor, it’s also a comical re-imagination of the original skin. An additional bonus is that the skin is always available in store for as few as 1200 V-bucks!
6. The Batman Who Laughs
Rarity: Rare (Blue)
Cost: 1500 V-Bucks
Released just in time for Halloween a couple years ago, The Batman Who Laughs is on this list perhaps due to managing to be one of the spookiest skins ever released in Fortnite. Released in partnership with DC Series, one can purchase this skin either in the item shop for 1,500 or as part of the The Batman Who Laughs Bundle for 2,200 V-Bucks.
Overall, the aesthetics of this skin are a massive shake-up from the colours which Fortnite is typically associated it – making it stand out immensely!
5. Ezio Auditore
Rarity: Gaming Legends (Rare)
Cost: 1,800 V-Bucks
One of the most unique aspects of Fortnite is it’s openness to other game characters, as you’ll see further down in this list. Released back in April 2022, the skin became available on the Item Shop for 1,800 or as part of the Tales From the Animus Bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks.
Offering two selectable styles, with hood up or down, this skin simply allowed for players to enjoy some nostalgia from the historic Assassin’s Creed franchise of games which are still ongoing to this day!
4. Boba Fett
Rarity: Star Wars Series
Cost: 1,500 V-Bucks
This list definitely wouldn’t be complete without the mention of at least one Star Wars character. Considering the popularity of the streamable series, the release of a Boba Fett skin was a no-brainer and a perfect fit for Fortnite.
Unlocking the skin is possible in the Item Shop for 1,500 or with the Boba Fett Bundle for 2,300 V-Bucks. Appealing to the Star Wars fans, the aesthetics of the skin are also awesome, with reactive aiming to make players feel like bounty hunters.
3. Omegarok
Rarity: Legendary
Cost: 950 V-Bucks
Released in 2023, Omegarok is an epic throwback skin released as part of Chapter 4: Season OG Battle Pass, part of the Omega Harbinger Set.
As a fusion of Omega and Ragnarok, there can only be one true harbinger of fate.
Offering a number of variants together with a LEGO version, this is a great skin for anyone who has been playing Fortnite for a while.
2. Master Chief
Rarity: Gaming Legends
Cost: 1500 V-Bucks
It may be my nostalgia and inherent biases showing here, but one of the best Fortnite skins in the game is Master Chief. As a fan of the classic Halo games there’s nothing better than getting the chance to play my favourite character in Fortnite. It comes with the pelican glider and a miniature version of the pelican carrier. The Lil’ Warthog emote is also fantastic and deserves a spot in our best Fortnite skins 2024.
1. Doom Slayer
Rarity: Gaming Legends
Cost: 950 V-Bucks (C4S1)
If there was one skin I could choose before diving into some competitive Fortnite, it would be this in one – Doom Slayer.
Available back in Chapter 4: Season 1 Battle Pass, Doom Slayer is part of the Ultra-Nightmare Set of skins. Everybody will fear you in this skin, with the additional reactivity when aiming which adds to the cool-factor!
Currently, there’s one question going around the Fortnite community – is Fortnite dying? Well, regardless of the level of community interaction, the amount of skins up for grabs is simply insane, with the best Fortnite skins 2024 listed above!
