Ever wondered how tall are Fortnite characters are? The game doesn’t have exact measurements but that doesn’t mean we can’t figure it out!
How tall are Fortnite characters?
Most Fortnite characters are modeled to be around 6 feet tall. This estimate comes from comparing characters to the environment and other objects in the game.
There is however, several variying sources on what the actual character height is. Most sources put the height at 6ft (182cm), but there are sources that claim characters are on average 192cm (6’3″) or way shorter at 5’74” (175cm).
With many different skins in the game, some have different proportions. But in the interest of balance and not having objectively harder to hit models, most Fortnite characters sit at similar heights. You can guess this based on their relative height to trees and other real life scenery like vehicles.
Popular Character Heights in Fortnite
- Jonesy or Mr Default Dance himself. Coming in at around the 6ft range, he sets the baseline for all skins in Fortnite. Based on the default character height in Unreal Engine 4, 1uu (unreal unit) is 1cm. At 190CM for the 3rd person model height, Jonesy actually is closer to 6.2″
- Peely is our favorite banana, and stands roughly 6 feet tall. Considering he’s a banana, this makes him quite unique and memorable!
- Renegade Raider is around the 6 feet mark, fitting the average character height in Fortnite.
Special Skins
Some skins, like the Meowscles or Brutus, appear significantly larger due to their bulky builds. While they may seem taller, they’re generally still within the 6-7 feet range when compared to other characters in the game.
In-Game Comparisons
To get a sense of character height, you can compare them to doors, vehicles, and other players. Fortnite’s world is designed to be a bit cartoonish, so while these comparisons aren’t exact, they give a good ballpark figure.
