LEC Agrees Trio Of Key Sponsorship Deals For 2022
As any fan of League of Legends esports or esports betting will know, the LEC Spring 2022 season is just over the horizon and the European League of Legends organization has been busy securing a trio of sponsorship deals for the next season and beyond.
This new set of agreements comes a short time after the LEC released a music video, featuring two LEC casters, to preview the LEC Spring Split 2022 as part of their Against the Current collaboration.
All of these new agreements mean that the preparation for the forthcoming LEC Spring Split is going very well for the league and augurs well for what should be an exciting season ahead for the top League of Legends teams in Europe.
The New Trio Of Deals
This latest set of sponsorship deals sees the LEC agree terms with three key partners, Red Bull, Warner Music and Secretlab.
The deals are extensions or renewals of previous deals that the LEC have struck with each of the three companies and all seem very happy with the way the previous collaborations have worked out.
Red Bull will continue in their role as the Official Energy Drink supplier to the team, the fourth year in which Red Bull has teamed up with the LEC. However, the new deal will see Red Bull become more involved in what the LEC called “creating content activations” that will be showcased throughout the LEC events over the next 12 months.
In addition, the Red Bull sponsored Solo Q tournament, an official event which pits 1 player against another single player allowing fans to play against each other, will also make a return in 2022 after being successfully contested last year.
Warner Music & Secret Labs Deals
Next up, the LEC announced that they had agreed a deal with Warner Music for them to be their Official Music Partner for 2022. This ties in nicely with the LEC’s collaboration with Against the Current, a group signed to Warner Music, and it is thought that the deal will see further new and established artists showcase their musical talents through the LEC.
The final part of the trio of deals was with gaming chair company Secretlab and this deal means that the company will continue to provide its chairs in its role as the Official Gaming Chair Partner of the LEC and EU Masters.
The company has showcased its products in the LEC and across the League of Legends universe since 2019 and for the LEC Spring Split 2022, the new Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 will be the chair of choice for all teams to use in the event.
Additionally, the Secretlab x League of Legends Tilted emote that was revealed initially during the 2021 World Championships will also be back for the LEC 2022. The LEC suggests that you follow Secretlabs social media pages for more details on how you can acquire one of the emotes for yourself when they are released.
With a whole new season on the horizon and new sponsorship deals in the bag, the LEC betting is set to build on what was its biggest and most watched season of all-time in 2021 and there are many LoL fans who cannot wait for the start of the new season.
