Jiizuke Domestic Career

Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro began his LoL career on Team Forge. Together with his teammates, he attended the 2016 EU CS Summer Qualifiers. They had a strong start, going 3-2 in the group stage and defeating SK Gaming with a 3-1 score to qualify for the Challenger Series. However, they couldn’t gain any momentum in the 2016 Summer Split, finishing the regular season with a 0-4-1 record (wins-ties-losses).

With that, Team Forge had to play in the 2017 Spring Qualifiers. Once again, they had a dominant showing in the group stage but the playoffs had them losing 0-3 to Fnatic Academy.

After such a disappointing showing, Jiizuke left the organization to join Giants Only The Brave. He participated in a string of smaller tournaments before being promoted to the main Giants Gaming lineup. With his help, Giants took over the 2017 EU CS Summer Split. They made it all the way to the Promotion Tournament where they defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas and Schalke 04 to qualify for the EU LCS.

In the off-season, four Giants Gaming members (including Jiizuke) were signed by Team Vitality.
