He is mostly known for maining Miguel when in competition.

Gen is one of the best Japanese Tekken players in the world. He was first noticed by fans in the International Tekken Community at Evolution 2014. He amazed everyone watching by finishing 2nd in the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 competition, at the age of 14. After this he moved onto Tekken 7, where he qualified for The King of Iron Fist Tournament in 2015 and 2016. However after this, he decided to dedicate most of his time to education instead of practicing and attending tournaments.

In 2019 he returned to the esport and was announced as Team Liquid’s first ever Tekken player. He was released from the org a few months later, but soon after his departure he signed with Donuts USG, who he is still representing today. As a result of his numerous major tournament wins and consistency over 2 decades of Tekken tournaments, Jae-Min “Knee” Bae is considered by many to definitely be one of the best Tekken players of all time, with over $150k in Tekken earnings throughout his career. He is currently representing the Korean organisation, DRX.

Despite the fact that he started competing in 2004, the South-Korean is still able to contend with the very best players around the world, which he proved by winning his third EVO championship in dominating fashion with Feng in August 2022. Despite struggling to perform to his normal standard in 2021, with this result we can safely say Knee is back to his best, which is incredible considering that he is 37 years old.

Although he is most known for his Bryan, throughout his career he has shown proficiency over a plenitude of characters, being known for his mastery of the game as a whole rather than being a specialist.

5. Moon “Binchang” Changbin

Moon “Binchang” Changbin is a competitive Tekken player from South Korea who resides in the United States and is currently representing Nfinite. He plays several characters including Heihachi, Leroy, and Claudio among others. He started competing in 2017 but had little success until the end of 2020, where his run of form started.

Since the end of 2020, Binchang has been able to consistently perform well in every tournament he participates in. The Korean-American has rarely finished outside of the top 6 and has won multiple events, most notably the Tekken Online Challenge 2021: NA Regional Finals at the beginning of 2022. This ability to consistently perform at the top level has shown Binchang can be one of the best Tekken players in the world.
