Guava Juice started his life in 1996. He was born in Dagupan City, Pangasinan, in the Philippines, but by the age of two, he had moved with his family to the United States. He was brought up in Durham, North Carolina, where he had to learn English as a second language. Although shy as a youngster, he was keen on sports like soccer and basketball, sports that he continues to play in his spare time today. He made his first film using Windows Moviemaker at the age of 12.
He made his debut on YouTube in 2006, and around two years later he and his friend Alex Burriss, also known as ‘Alex Wassabi’, started a channel called Wassabi Productions. This featured the pair doing things like lip syncs, challenges, parodies and other types of engaging and humorous content.
